Cute as a Bug in Eureka, MO - Your locally owned children's resale store

Christine Pett and Connie Kelly (a mother and daughter team) opened Cute as a Bug in June, 2007. They saw a need for this type of store in a growing area and had always dreamed of owning a resale store.

"Growing up we shopped in regular retail stores as well as resale stores," Christine says. "As I grew older and was living on a teacher's salary, I saw how much more I could stretch my dollar. Now that I have my own children, I rarely shop anywhere else."

Christine has two children, a stepson, Dylan, who is 15, and a daughter, Morgan, who is 3.

Connie is a mother of two, a grandmother of 3 girls aged 3, 8 and 19 and a great-grandmother to the only baby boy in the family, aged 1. When she is not working at the store, chances are she is spending time with one of the kids.

Cute as a Bug is owner operated with the help of one part-time worker, Angelina Daly. They are a friendly staff eager to help in any way they can. "We understand that building a business is about building relationships," Connie says. "We are anxious to get to know you and serve you in any way we can."
